Alaska Grow Buckets System

Alaska Grow Buckets is no longer making our own kits, but you can still order everything or just order the parts that you need. We will continue to offer the FREE Alaska Grow Buckets Guide to show how to easily construct your system and you are welcome to print out and share our instruction guide with your friends.

Everything you will need is listed below to construct eight - 5 Gallon Grow Buckets with fabric grow bags, bucket inserts, all fittings, tubing, a Float Valve control, and a 30 Gallon Water Barrel for your complete self watering Alaska Grow Buckets system.

I encourage gardeners to find and re-purpose used buckets that are free or very low cost to help keep plastic out of our landfills. Look for the Type 2 HDPE symbol on the bottom to indicate the plastic is safe to use for growing vegetables. The lowest price I have found for new 5 Gal. buckets are the familiar orange buckets sold by Home Depot.
